Second agar apke samne koi officer aye aur uske shoulder pr three stars ho aur IPS lika ho to SMJ jaye ki Bo DSP yah ACP,CO hai aur je ek IPS (Indian Police Service ) rank officer hai enki duty pure desh me kahi bhi ho skti hai

Third agar kissi officer ke shoulder pr three stars hai aur kuch nhi hai to smj jaye ki bo DSP,ACP,CO hai aur bo STATE PSC rank officer hai enki duty enke State me kahi bhi ho skti hai

Promotion of DSP,IPS (DSP:-

Agar baat kre STATE PSC rank officer ki jo DSP hota hai unka promotion bahot Dheere hota hai 

Agar baat kre UPSC wale IPS rank ke DSP officer ki to inka promotion bahot jaldi hota hai
